Lots of black pepper. Tasty. — 7 years ago
This one surprised me. Outstanding balance, lemon zest and apple pears, minerals, energetic. Really nice. — 9 years ago
Waited two years from purchasing and it was worth the wait. Black cherry, little earth. So smooth. — 9 years ago
Opened by my good friend @Charles Gudas at Circa 1886 in Charleston (finally getting around to posting a few). My first Ferren. Beautiful expressive nose, mid palate of candied strawberries. Lengthy finish. Best new Pinot I've tasted in a while. I prefer Matt's Ferren Pinots to his Ferren chards, and prefer his Arista chards to Ferren chards. — 9 years ago

Anderson valley fruit, dark cherry, strawberry. Nice acidity and decent finish. — 10 years ago
Pretty delicious. Nice acidity, green/yellow apple, and stone fruit/white nectarine characters, indicative of the warmer Anderson valley climate. Steely minerality. I'll be drinking this all summer long. — 9 years ago
Still drinking nicely: cherry berry fruit followed by smoke & spice. 👏 — 9 years ago
Absolutely loved it! — 10 years ago
15’ Aubert Ritchie. Best Ritchie I’ve enjoyed from Mark to date? 🤷🏻♂️ Medium + bodied. Beautifully balanced Chardonnay. White peach, splash of pineapple core, apricot, white toast, sprinkle in a bit of floral spices. 3 favorites from this vineyard are Château Boswell- Arista- Aubert. Cheers. -at BLT Honolulu, Hawaii — 6 years ago
Amazingly jammy and rich. Go with sweet tomato sauces or sweet peppers and sausages. Save for a Godfather marathon. — 7 years ago
Drank w pork arista. Light, translucent ruby. The acid is a bit dominant still. The wine needs some more time to balance out. But the energy and tension are excellent. Spicy aromatics. Tart cherry on palate. — 8 years ago
Nice I enjoyed the initial pepper flavors — 9 years ago

Little thin, but paired nicely with Arista di Maiale. — 10 years ago
Bought this at Arista winery in Healdsburg — 10 years ago

17’ Arista Perli Vineyards Chardonnay. One of only 18 vineyards on top of an AVA that was just created in 1997. Decanted for an hour. Medium gold in color. Bright pear & stone fruits, spices on the nose. “Sells it”. Pear, yellow apple, honey, pinenuts, moderate acidity/oak. with lively texture flowing through the finish. Unlike Matts Ferren Wines, these aren’t as big in the shoulders. Beautifully balanced Chardonnay. Worth checking out the entire Chardonnay line up since 2016’s. Cheers. Edit- This wine will taste even better in 2021+ — 5 years ago
