Drank w pork arista. Light, translucent ruby. The acid is a bit dominant still. The wine needs some more time to balance out. But the energy and tension are excellent. Spicy aromatics. Tart cherry on palate. — 6 years ago

15’ Aubert Ritchie. Best Ritchie I’ve enjoyed from Mark to date? 🤷🏻♂️ Medium + bodied. Beautifully balanced Chardonnay. Opened by my good friend @Charles Gudas at Circa 1886 in Charleston (finally getting around to posting a few). My first Ferren. Beautiful expressive nose, mid palate of candied strawberries. Lengthy finish. Best new Pinot I've tasted in a while. I prefer Matt's Ferren Pinots to his Ferren chards, and prefer his Arista chards to Ferren chards. — 8 years ago

Ate leftovers from Dry Creek Kitchen dinner on 5/28/19 in our room (16) at Farmhouse Inn. Lamb chops, kale salad, mushrooms, pasta salad, and chocolate chip cookies for dessert. All delicious. Wine perfect pairing. — 5 years ago
