Reached deep to find this beauty from @Justin Harmon owner/winemaker of #argotwines RP has been giving Justin's wines some high praise and his wines never disappoint. Big and delicious. This Pinot is one of his early vintages which has aged beautifully. Justin honed his craft as an assistant to @Russell Bevan Need I say more? We met at an SQN retreat at Blackberry Farms in 2005 and we have remained friends ever since. — 10 years ago

This is actually called 'MacGuffin". Great Grenache/Syrah blend (75/25). Dark purple in the glass, very fruit forward on the palate, medium bodied with a long finish. I absolutely love Argot wines and this was no exception. — 9 years ago

Argot "the distance" Bennett Valley 2009 (Syrah with touch of Grenache) stored under Coravin for six months… It shows how well Coravin can do. Fresh cracked pepper plush red skins fresh bacon fat hints of dark chocolate. I don't understand why Syrah is so difficult to sell when it is so easy to love. — 10 years ago
