I am kicking myself for not buying more when @totalwine had it on sale. — 10 years ago
Very good choice. — 10 years ago
Even people who think they don't like Merlot love this wine. I'm particularly fond of this vintage. Lush, full body and delicious. — 11 years ago
2000 vintage. Huge grassy aroma upon opening. After lengthy decanting, a phenomenal beautiful cab franc emerges, fine tannins, with lush texture and layers of flavor that build to an apex of cold smooth stone, fennel and a slight hint of tobacco. 5.75 out of 6 Jeffersons. This is a gorgeous Loire Valley red, from a badass winemaker. — 11 years ago
A great wine, but doesn't quite justify price point — 13 years ago

Wow. Anyone up for 99 SB Syrah. This was a lovely warm climate Syrah drinking at apex. Again an almost seamless wine with a distinct start middle finish. Hats off to Adam! — 10 years ago
Apex seldom disappoints. From the alder ridge vineyard. An excellent Grenache. — 11 years ago
A nice very light dessert wine.

This was a big wine, yet of the European style. Made in the Brian Carter era of Apex, this was his last venture with creating straight variatal wines before his BC Cellars start. I held on to this bottle since 2004 to drink it. Took 2 days to open up and it was still tight!! $36 / 95pts — 12 years ago
Very smooth! Just a little spice on the body with subtle chocolate on the finish. Yummy! — 13 years ago
Brightly bitter, with a long yeasty, wheaty finish. Yum! — 10 years ago
My favorite producer......their best wine - what can I say - this is my Apex - I don't know if it gets better then this wine - perfection!!!!! — 10 years ago
At its apex. Can't image it being better. Very evident fruit, fairly bright color, fully integrated tannins. A pleasure. — 11 years ago
