Juanita drank this at Fiola at Dc. Great with fish — 2 years ago
Nicely dense and consistent Beaujolais. Deep red color and pretty tannic for a Gamay based wine. Aromas of black fruit with a cotton candy/bubble gum (not sweet) note. Black fruit flavors with a hint of mineral and black olive. You can chill it and drink it young or put it aside to age. — 5 years ago

Delicious oaky Chardonnay from Burgundy. Full bodied with butter to start and a subtle fruity acidic finish. Reasonable price as well!! 😊 — 6 years ago
Steely, tropical, wonderful acid. — 7 years ago
Very nice premier cru Maranges. Looking for value on the list at the Grill isn’t always easy, but there are usually a couple bottles that catch the eye. Delicious fruit, but with a ton of restraint. Deep earth, good acid, definitely some fuller tannins. Very nice pairing with a variety of dishes. Will be better in a few years but very good today too. — 8 months ago
Sharp, concentrated, taut. Reduced slightly in the beginning but unfurls slowly with notes of Meyer lemon, chalk, unripe pineapple, acacia, orange blossom and a hint of smoke. Fantastic effort, promises slightly more rounded notes as the oak integrates with time. — 3 years ago
This the ...100% not the pur ju but idk if there was a name change and it’s still the same bottling. Twiggy and crisp, pomegranate and cranberry leaf the way. Put your Patagonia on for this one. But a fine bevvy — 5 years ago
“Balanced” is a great way to describe this wine; some oak yet minerally. Very nice with poached halibut and carrots. — 6 years ago
Complexity hits you right away. Slight oak on the nose and palate. Fresh cut green grass, citrus, hint of pear and acacia flowers on the nose. Awesome minerality and mouth coating acidity on the palate. Ends in a medium plus finish. — 6 years ago
Very pretty Gamay. Cherry with a core of pine and herbs. — 8 years ago
Deep ruby medium opacity, wonderfully balanced minerality, bright red fruits, lovely burgundy! — 9 months ago

A tale of two cities. Bottle #1 had an enjoyable nose of decaying earth, red fruits and with air some darker fruit. One could tell it was a ‘96 given the unresolved tannins and the powerful acid. Mushrooms and darker fruit in the mouth. Bottle #2 unfortunately was DOA.. Very shrill and stewed fruit. — 8 months ago
