Holy rotie! Pepper, boysenberry, cured meats, smoke, dried herbs, med tannin and nice acid. After smelling another wine in the flight and going back to the cote, it was total peppered beef jerky. Amazing! Thanks for sharing Doug! — 8 years ago
The Emirates flight crew altered me that @Claire Owen and I consumed a total of 4 bottles on the flight...worth it, I think? Needed something to pair with the caviar and canapés. #EmiratesSuites #a380 #honeymoon — 9 years ago

5-Oh Bday Dinner... Reddish brown and lighter in the glass than the Latour and Inglenook. A subtle nose with some soil funk and a little fruit. Better in the mouth than the nose suggested, but this is not a great wine. Interesting though. One of a flight of 3 65s — 10 years ago
Connecticut white wine, so it's got that going for it. Kinda sweet though. Nostalgia value is through the roof, not an every day white though. — 10 years ago

The 2015 Screaming Eagle is fabulous. Rich and ample on the palate, with soaring aromatics from the Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2015 is a drop-dead gorgeous beauty. Ripe red plum, pomegranate, mint, kirsch, lavender and sweet spice notes are beautifully delineated in the glass. In this tasting, the Cabernet-based Screaming Eagle is quite a bit more open and accessible than the Merlot-based The Flight. Even so, it will be years before the 2015 Screaming Eagle is ready to drink. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2018) — 7 years ago
This is a really tasty cab with an earthy but clean taste. Some peppermint and orange with cherry in there. Go get it! — 9 years ago

Pichon dinner, Flight 3, Wine 2. The Chateau rep indicated this was his favorite on the evening. Enjoyable, but nose and palate were slightly muted for me. Probably impacted by the amount of sediment, as I may have gotten the last pour from the bottle. — 9 years ago

Best red from Osprey's so far. Floral bouquet with berries and a hint of tobacco. No discordant notes with a lingering, pleasant finish. Standing up to and getting along just fine with blue cheese. A keeper. #everydaygems — 10 years ago
