Spice box notes with exotic fruit notes and delicious intense finish. Never had anything like it. With my bud andy myer & (his wife)now wine director for Jose Andres restaurants Wine was perfect with the dishes chef made just for us. Really special treat! — 10 years ago
2011 Dr. Buerklin-Wolf Riesling Pfalz QbA. From one of the largest (110 ha) privately owned wine estates in Germany. The estate Riesling, a blend of top sites in the Bereich Mittelhaardt-Deutsche Weinstrasse, from Deidesheim and Wachenheim. Tried various vintages of this wine and it never disappoints, pure mineral spice, tangy and textured. Delicious from the approachable 2011 vintage. — 10 years ago

Delicious value play of the Can Blau family. Full bodied, fruit forward and just enough oak. Great by itself or with some cheese. Much needed companion during Bananagrams with Rachel and Andres! — 8 years ago

Agree with Andres - loves food. Beautiful pink/red sensibility with floral and plummy fruit notes. Complementary acidity matches well with sausage and chicken. Gives you red wine satisfaction with rose versatility. 2014. Hope to visit soon. — 10 years ago

Yes it's an $8 bottle of wine. But when Jose Andres makes sangria with this wine it reaches heavenly heights. Not sure anyone is cooking more interesting food than Jose right now! And his sangria just rocks! — 10 years ago

Beautiful inky color with blackberry, cassis and lots of spice on the nose. Tannins are still firm, weighty palate, well-integrated oak. Flavors same as aromas but add cedar. Great wine, Andres Basso and Lynfred team! — 11 years ago
