Lightly pigmented brownish red. A hint of raisin or prune in nose, later a touch of mushroom or funk. Tutti frutti flavor, with time, rose, cherry and prune flavors, soft mouthfeel, crisp finish. Moderately chewy tannin finish with an anise aftertaste. A different flavor profile, but seems varietally true. This one grew on me — 8 years ago
