Great rkatsiteli similar to Orgo. Beautiful amber color, rich tannins. — 7 years ago
Lovely clear amber colour and orange marmalade nose but a little closed. Also, it seemed like it had 'eaten' a lot of it's sugar, without gaining richness and acidity to take it's place. Very pleasant but a little under expectation. — 9 years ago

A lovely Sauternes from 1999, showing a beautiful Amber color, a tempting aromas of tropical fruit, apricot, mango, honey and a touch of botrytis, full rich body, creamy and smooth with lovely sweetness and a great acidity, this wine at 16 is showing beautifully and I have one more to open in 2020. The finish is long and luxurious and is a dessert on its own, my score 92, drink to 2025 — 10 years ago
1996 vintage. Medium amber. Rice pudding on the nose, ambrosia, honey, honey dew melon. On the palate, very similar to the nose. Medium plus acidity, medium body and pronounced flavour concentration. Deep and nutty on the finish. Burned caramel. Excellent. — 10 years ago
It was worth the wait. Hoppy, resinous, rich, full bodied Amber. Just delicious — 11 years ago
Opened Thursday night and enjoyed a glass, but it was even better when we finished the bottle Friday evening. — 12 years ago
Turpentine, tree sap and resin; hoshigaki and dried apricot. Deep amber colour, lots of skins, solidly tannic. — 7 years ago
From a good looking bottle with a top shoulder fill. Old red tawny color with light amber rims. Translucent. A nose that makes you smile. Notes of black cherry, forest floor, worn leather and a little barnyard funk that makes it exciting. In the mouth it’s still showing some fruit and it needs lots of air to soften its acidity and structure. By itself it’s good. With food it’s better. Don’t think it will improve with more age but given it was at its best after 8 hours of air, bottles like this tell you it can hold on for many more years. — 7 years ago
Super tannic and dry amber white. Such a good grip on those tannins, my goodness — 8 years ago
Lovely Barsac, with deep amber color and unexpected richness. Very nice — 9 years ago
This one really waked me up. Skin macerated Malvasia (60 days) from the Parma hills. Beautiful amber colour. This is their basic white. Would like to try more. Nice introduction @ Le Baratin — 10 years ago
More amber than orange and very caramelly — 10 years ago

Half-bottle. The wine was medium amber in colour and offered orange peel, apple, honeycomb, caramel, smoke, spices, sherry and a mouldy note on the nose. On the palate the wine showed orange, peach, apple, cane sugar, caramel, smoke, spices, creamy honey, some coffee, a hint of chocolate, sherry, mild black tea and a mouldy note, paired with medium-plus acidity, a creamy honey mouthfeel and very good length. Judged by this half-bottle the wine has just passed its plateau and started its slow journey on the downward slope. A good, medium-bodied Sauternes with lots of botrytis character. Drink now. 89 — 11 years ago

I'm a sucker for Malbecs-especially this one :) — 10 years ago
Terrific at the open, silky smooth texture and very round and balanced with a nice long finish. Kosta Brown's elegant touch shows in the structure of this big subtly jammy syrah. Too bad there's probably no '04's available but I'm loving this wine. — 11 years ago
Caramel brittle on the nose, very light at first and explodes into a crescendo of subtle flavours -- vanilla and spice. Long and complicated finish. The taste just seems to grow infinitely after you've swallowed. — 11 years ago
