Blind tasting, number 2. Garnet red in color. Musty nose with some floral notes and that of potpourri. Low tannins with a body that starts off slowly and then gets fuller (not full) in the end. Finish lingers for a few that is slightly tangy and metallic. — 8 years ago

Ripe raspberries and cherries verging on jam. Anise as well as toasty, smokey oak with some vanilla.

Supple on the palate with good balancing acidity and tannin with sweet oak notes layered in. Alcohol is more noticable than I would like.
