Mineral and lemony notes. Golden color from a bit of age. — 5 years ago
I love a strong white. Very deep straw color, light nutty cheese notes, helped cut through and temper the sweetbreads it was paired with. — 6 years ago
Very delicious and uniquely funky. — 6 years ago
CVed 10/11/17. Acker11. White flowers and nuts and blast of acids on nose. Palate of minerals and acids and almonds and hints of surprising fruit sweetness just beneath the tension and long finish. Energy! Mouth puckering acidity. Great food wine. First taste of Altesse. Vieilles Vignes. Need to compare with Brondien. — 7 years ago

Honeydew melon, trampled flowers. Medium bodied. Limestone. — 6 years ago
Alpine nose. Smells like fresh rain, mountain dew (not the crap), forest scents of pine scrub or almost spruce. Invigorating, herbal finish of dandelion and fresh herbs, almost has a 'healing' or therapeutic finish...and no, I am not drinking this at an Alpine spa! — 6 years ago

30/40/30 Chard/Altesse/Mondeuse. 12 months on lees. Funky sour cherry, rosemary, fresh cut grass, beeswax, and crushed rocks on the nose. Ripe and juicy peach on the palate. Medium+ acidity, medium finish. — 5 years ago

Always love a white with a hint of cherry in it. Reminds me of Tessier, which is a high compliment indeed. 2014 vintage — 8 years ago
