Delicious! Crisp, aromatic, floral, white peach and citrus — 9 years ago
2015. 9.1+. Just too young. Same problem as with Altesino: takes forever to open up, very salty and tart, then thins out and fades. Very good producer. Going to stop opening the better 2015 Brunellos and will revisit. $50 on Delectable. — 4 years ago
Super Tuscan lite. Great pizza wine to mix it up. — 6 years ago
Red fruit high acidity with vanilla from possibly French oak. Very firm tannin. Horizontally tasted with altesino montosoli in which vanilla hint is not exist. — 8 years ago
Great medium body wine with a nice juxtaposition between relatively high tannins and acidity. Some black tea notes, and a bit of peppery flavors. — 9 years ago
Delicious medium bodied Rosso. Roundness makes the difference. Great QPR! — 5 years ago
16.5+. Classico indeed, except that chianti wasn’t as good 30 years ago. The Sangiovese really comes through in a distinctive way in this wine. Great year, pity to drink it so young, but that’s what I could get at the Coop in Chianciano (good range, by the way - Caparzo, Altesino, ...). — 6 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Tried ‘14 & ‘15 together. The name of the estate comes from "Ca' Pazzo", shown on ancient maps. Caparzo is owned by Elisabetta Gnudi Angelini, she also owns Altesino. Deep Ruby with berry fruit aromas with cedar, herbs and smoke, aged for 2 years on oak. On the palate cherry, plum & cranberry flavors, with leather, cacao, spice and tobacco notes. Lively acidity, fine approachable tannins, long ending with spicy oak finish. ‘15 a bit better! — 3 years ago
