Beer made by winemakers. Complex, elegant, subtle, stimulating, structure. I don't know where to start — 9 years ago
Outpost True 09'. Unlike the 2008 or 2010 this needs a ton more air. The nose just grabs you! An abundance of dark mountain fruits, worn leather, mint, oak. Bold & elegant tannins. Nice & long finish. It could possibly get a little better with another 2 years in bottle. TRB with yet another wine. I'll be curious to see where this 09' will be in 6/8 years? — 10 years ago
Vibrant and brightly fruity, with sweet cherry, plum fruit in abundance. Light bodied with a vibrant acidic uplift which is the core focus of the wine. Sweet berry fruit, light spices and a faint touch of oak. This will really go somewhere in next few years — 10 years ago
2012. Warner vineyard character showing through in abundance in this wine. Savoury and concentrated. Plenty of gorgeously stemmy, whole-bunch elements combined with juicy, ripe, dark fruits. — 11 years ago
Jumps out of the glass with an abundance of aromas. Cooked red & black fruits, raisin, beef jerky and violets. Sweet and delicious with a smooth finish and very little in the way of tannins or too much acid. As good as many Amarones at 3x-4x times the price. — 12 years ago
One of Delon family's finest, this is one of 3 main labels they own, next to Chateau Nenin in Pomerol, and the famed Leoville Las Cases in St. Julien. It is a beautiful expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, delicate, but bright and youthful, and beautifully colored. There is an abundance of black fruits and earth on the nose, and a bit of barnyard in the form of what reminds me of the rind of cheese, or mushrooms, followed by dry crushed rocks. The pallet is balanced and elegant, exhibiting intensity in blackberries, red apple skin, dark cherries, dried herbs, and a gorgeous finish. This was a wonderful wine to be enjoyed, and one that will attest time. I can't wait to have a 2010 in another 5-10 years.
Cheers!

Abundance of fruit, wood and pencil shavings. Incredible chalky palate. Not subtle. Almost tasted like it was bottled yesterday. — 10 years ago
Deep in color and fragrant on the nose, this dark ruby red from Sicily offers a powerful set of aromas: cassis, black olives, cigar box, leather, anise and smoke all come around fairly quickly. This is one of those wines I run across from time to time that smells so good I almost forget to drink it. Almost. The palate is dark and savory. Blackberry and black plum are the most notable fruit flavors, but the Morgante is all about the trimmings. There is a muddy forest floor component and, if you are new to wine, rest assured that it’s a good thing. Minerality comes in abundance and there is a hint of sage there, too, with notes of tea, coffee and root beer finding their way through. — 10 years ago
2005. Very nice. Lots of fruit, long finish — 11 years ago
2012 vintage. Bit ripe and peachy. Oxidation notes. Bit good acidity and lots of minerality - wet rocks in abundance. Medium finish. — 11 years ago
Broad nose with plenty stewed red berry fruit, kirsch, cheery bakewell, prune but also a savoury smokiness. Palate shows more elegance than the nose would suggest with an abundance of red fruits though alcohol pokes out a touch. Felt a touch sorry for this fella as it was drunk just after Lafite 95'.... — 11 years ago
Rich and luscious on the tongue. Buttery smooth with some complexity and not and over abundance of stone fruit. — 9 years ago

Nose is fruity with oak scent. Full juicy fruit flavors but not sweet. Cherry, plum and blackberry are the primary fruit flavors. The winemaker notes pomegranate, while I do see the presence, I think it gets lost in the abundance of jammy other fruits and is difficult to standout. A cedar spice holds through on the finish but is still secondary to the fruit. Overall the wine is medium to full bodied and is extremely well balanced. With limited tannins the smoothness goes from start to finish producing a very enjoyable bottle. — 10 years ago
14' Kenzo Asatsuyu Sauvignon Blanc. Heidi Barrett's only Sauvignon Blanc. Light golden yellow in color. A 10 second swirled of the glass, you can smell...citrus,floral, minerals...6 inches from the glass. On the front & middle palate, I get kiwi, honeydew. Middle & back of the palate have an abundance of floral notes, with light and crisp acidity.# Can't miss — 10 years ago
The nose is of good red fruit. I get strawberries, red raspberries, maraschino cherries, mild mushroom, and foggy forest floor. The palate has the red fruit in abundance, strawberries, tart cherries, good acidity, mild tannin and beautiful round mouth feel. Just my type of Pinot Noir. — 10 years ago
It's very complicated, full concentrated and rich in aromas champagne. Nose is fresh with abundance of ripe yellow stone fruits. On the palate excellent balance, elegant body (med), fresh acidity (med+) and long succulent finish. — 11 years ago
Delish. There is a surprising richness, almost an oily feel. Citrus and stone in abundance. Clean finish. — 11 years ago
Gorgeous golden yellow color and aromas of peach, pineapple, lemon, hazelnut and white pepper. Luscious and zippy on the fruit that captures the nectar of stone fruits and the abundance of tropical pineapple flavors with a crisp, refreshing core of acid and slight notes of fresh hay on the finish. A beauty. — 12 years ago

A dry rose with an abundance of strawberry and watermelon notes. My first wine from Provence! Had at Rutheford Grill! — 9 years ago
