Big, fruity, floral concentrate of Spanish Monestral. Intense extracted prunes, ripe dark berries, a basket of fresh stripped cedar.
Has you thinking about fresh pressed violets, finger staining wild Maine blueberries, and boysenberry pancake syrup. — 5 years ago
Red fruits flavor without any rough taste. Light acidity. 2017 @990, Kping, 210204-210214 — 5 years ago
At Shanondoah trip with Grafs and parents. Surprisingly intact and very nice with food. Clearly of age but still firm texture and enough fruits and acids for balance. Good AA 10. — 5 years ago
Light-yellow; subdued nose of grapefruit and stone; more of the same with melon and perhaps peach on the palate, all enhanced by the lovely, velvety mouthfeel. Clearly much too young. — 7 years ago

Nice clean fruit and a solid spine of acidity. Great accompaniment to poached fish. — 5 years ago

Nice balanced medium bodied combo of 65/35 Syrah/Grenache from Costieres de Nimes. New to me. Rather reticent but attractive nose and good texture with a dash of sweetness. Medium length. AA 4.5 can’t complain! — 5 years ago
Very interesting old Zin nose of very ripe red fruits cherries and earth and stones. But kind of fall short on palate that’s more acidic. Medium finish. Went well with food. AA value 9. Two days later in Eto may be even better! Seemed to have opened up more and now there’s lively texture and lift and elegance. Surprising for 32 year old wine. Upping from 8.9 to 9.1. This vineyard revived for early Ravenswood Zin by Peterson. Dickerson died in Thailand sunami. — 5 years ago

First taste of excellent Riesling Gerwurtz blend 23% sugar 9%ABV. Complex tropical fruits and flowers on nose and sweet balanced palate that has a sense of lightness and long finish. AA value 8! 6/3/21. — 4 years ago
Excellent for the price. Fruity and light tannins. Paired excellently with pork and spicy food. — 5 years ago
Well made New world style wood infused dark red fruited balanced wine of half half Grenache and Syrah. Didn’t pair so well with Amah meat balls, kalbi but would have been good with steak. AA value 5! — 5 years ago

Jellied asparagus beneath lemon curd, ripe peach, white apricot and white roses, airy pineapple and golden raisin, frame a lemon marmalade on light toast. Almost oily mouthfeel that texturally resonates with a materializing jalapeño jam. Pineapple essence, poached Bosc pear, suggesting its white pepper near the finish line with tangerine pith, orange zest and fruitcake; all while staying sincere in its effort to dazzle the paparazzi with effortless gestures and perfectly-timed poses befitting its natural magnanimity. #grüner #grünerveltliner #gruner #grunerveltliner #austrianwine #austrian #weiss #weissgold #Nigl #NiglPrivat #kremstal #weingut #wein #wein #Senftenberg — 7 years ago

Pop and pour yesterday, to avoid digging into my Clos Electrique stash.. It's true there is a ton of bottle variation aa regards Brett in Cameron wines...my previous btl was evidently a lot Brettier than this one. This btl was stunning. Notes from 24 hrs open. On the nose: perfumed wild strawberry, soft mushroomy funk, spice. On the palate: fantastic acidity and density, dark raspberry, crushed stone, lovely tang, soft tannin on the finish. Yum. — 4 years ago
