Like a California smile on an eq - lots of acid on one end balanced by tree fruits on the other. — 10 years ago
If there's to be only one Beaujolais that would be it-2011- amazing vintage showing particularly well now black cherry, blackberry, great minerality a ripe fruit lifted by a medium acidity — 11 years ago

Still young but a very tasty Pinot by Thomas Brown — 13 years ago
Dusted one of these off. Nose is a bit funky to start. Reduced. But that blows off. Then gorgeous red berry fruit. So vivid and pure. Spice, mineral and earth. Juicy and so pure with wonderful deep and very pure red fruit and beautiful tannin. Long finish. Very mineral. This has really impressed me. Years to go as well. Still structured and so deep. — 8 years ago

Afternoon I took just a sip and 20min later I still have echoes of its wonderful flavor was surprised to see mediocre rating — 10 years ago
Not usually a fan of Beaujolais, but this is quite tasty - esp. for $16 — 11 years ago
The splashy label gave me pause and I approached with caution, but once I tasted, I was hooked. Fruity and warm without being a fruit bomb. Strong finish with stewed fruit and a hint of star anise. I would enjoy this all night solo hit it begs for food. — 11 years ago
Great focus, operating on a moderate wavelength. Not the most expansive but not a laser down the palate either. Golden apple, cured lemon, pecorino rind, salty brioche dough, crushed chalk and oyster shell. Briny and mineral across the back palate. Beautiful for the price! — 8 years ago
Restrained out the gate with a dried fruit leather, strawberry aroma. Absolutely delicious flavors like cherry and a juicy feel with good, light tannin framing the finish. — 9 years ago
Much more integrated than a coupla years ago. Great texture, oily nectar. Day 3 serious tropical lush-city. Still rocking in day 4. Really showing well, a pleasant surprise. — 10 years ago
