Not sure what the "experts" are talking about, because this vino nobile is off the hook. Incredible nose of camphor, menthol, and tart berries that emerged with more time in the glass, this is a textbook example of a vino nobile, which I have always viewed as a hypothetical hybrid between a chianti classico and a brunello di montalcino. A terrific wine that is just starting to emerge. Leave it for a couple of years, decant, and enjoy! — 10 years ago

One of the most elegant wines ive had. A gentle brute up feomt with pure elegance on the finish. Dark fruit nose with sweet tobacco and leather. Tastes of ripe raspberry black cherry, with rounded tannins that melt into a 12 swcond butterery finish with hints of vanilla. 25€ per taste, 650€ for bottle. — 12 years ago
