On Armenian Christmas must drink wine from Armenia, keeps getting better and better with bottle age. 2011 was the 2nd vintage and the 1st to get imported to the US in limited quantities. Wine is aged in clay pot (amphora) from vineyards of a 13th century monastery. — 9 years ago
1986 vintage in 2014. It's the 13th vintage made since 1917. 252 months in American oak barrels and 67 months on concrete tanks. Amazing taste! — 9 years ago

Very nice traditional California Cab, showing the ripeness of the vintage. Integrated and showing some complexity. Lovely nose, palate and moderately long finish — 9 years ago
Had 2012 on 3/13/15 Friday the 13th! Very good. — 10 years ago
Flemings for our 13th anniversary. Had again several years later. Deep purple in color. Striking and strong nose. This is a complex blend with a loyal following. Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon. I bought a 2015 from LA Wine Co in July of 2017 and opened in November of 2017. — 11 years ago
Wow. Smooth and big. Aged perfectly. 2008 — 12 years ago

13th anniversary dinner with Timmy. Fresh Salt... really yummy — 9 years ago
Brilliant pale straw. Showing crisp lemon drop, orange blossom, elegant minerality, a hint of coriander seed. Vivid acidity, well structured with vibrant fruit. A perfect pairing with Asian fusion chicken dishes, Szechuan beef and broccoli with ginger root or on it's own. @jonsteeves rated 90/100 - tasted May 2016 — 9 years ago
Interesting! Very strong petrol aroma when it's cold. Sweetness and acidity. — 9 years ago

13th Anniversary Wine. A wine of great intensity!!!, this 415-case blend of 78% Grenache, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Syrah aged in 100% new French oak casks, reveals an inky/purple color as well as a tight but promising bouquet of acacia flowers, raspberries, blackberries, and hints of blueberries, smoke, and the essence of minerality. With extraordinary richness, good underlying acidity, firm tannin, and a multilayered mouthfeel, this spectacularly concentrated 2001 is only hinting at its ultimate potential. Patience will be rewarded!!! as this is a tour de force in winemaking, marrying!!! the elegance and complexity!!! of Priorat with the extraordinary concentration and intensity that comes from low yields and ripe fruit. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2020+. — 11 years ago

France's first rosé appellation in 1815, this Rhone village's deep pink flows back to at least the 13th century. The darker color heralds deeper flavors and tannic structure. Dry and full-bodied with notes of cherry, white peach and almond leading into a river-rock minerality (Chateauneuf-du-Pape is less than ten miles away.) Well balanced, not overly acidic, and perfect with bouillabaisse, artichokes, or Carolina barbecue. — 8 years ago
Knife-throwing act where the knives are carved from peppercorns and the target board is a quilt of cherries. Beautiful Italian women casually offer themselves as targets, laughing and sipping espresso. — 9 years ago
Happy 13th anniversary!

Light red blend. Predominent gamay noir. Red currant and sour cherry and hint of bell peppers (?). Smooth and good value wine. — 9 years ago
Rubens Chablis. Acids are not sharp and pointy but fat and rounded. Unique mouthfeel. Great wine from an enclosed vineyard near the town of Béru. Grapes are coming from this vineyard since the 13th century. I'm glad Athénaïs stopped banking and started doing this. — 10 years ago
What a terrific #Gamay from @13thStreetWines! Love what's going on w/ this grape in @WineCountryOnt. — 11 years ago
Great cool climate Syrah from great vintage. — 11 years ago
Full, still has life, spice, rich dark fruit, smooth — 12 years ago
Sadly, this was my last bottle of the '94 La Jota Cabernet Sauvignon '13th Anniversary Release'. Under Helen Turley's superlative winemaking skills these mid-nineties efforts were quite formidable. Big smoky aromas of black fruit and minerals explode from the glass. I still tasted the slowly diminishing flavors well over a minute after swallowing. Absolutely a heavenly wine! — 13 years ago
