Red berry and lots of tannins. Honestly, I also have the Mouton out, so I’m distracted by that wine. Will make notes and come back to this. — a year ago
This is so clear and smooth. Just ripe red berries (strawberry, cherry, cranberry) with some dried herbs. This is excellent and drinks so easily. Pair with pets for a Magellan Sheepdog. — a year ago
Light, underripe raspberry, and mostly red fruit. Stringent. Higher acid. No tannins (or barely there tannins). Never mind. Tannins on the backend with the finish. Slight white pepper. Everything about this is subtle. — a year ago
So excited to drink this. Leathery, pipe tobacco on the nose. Forrest floor, old attic mildew, dusty, decomposing musty leaves. Stringent. Tastes like a old leather bound book you found at your grandparents and were like, “what’s that?” and pulled it from its shelf and instead got a face full of dust. But you love it. I love this. It’s everything I love about an old Bordeaux— pure decomposed earth. I would love to pet a lovely, giant Scottish Deerhound while drinking this— a dog as regal and mythical as this wine. — a year ago
Iron and blackberry right off the nose. There is airy clove and black current quality to it that seems to disappear on the tongue. It reminds me of super fine, dark chocolate. The image that comes to mind is a living oak tree— it tastes alive. Pair with pets for a Beauceron, a loyal, intelligent, devoted dog breed that is known for guarding livestock. Sit in front of a fire, drinking this wine while eating some dark chocolate. Or better yet, a hearty filet mignon that you can share with your new Beauceron best friend. — a year ago
It’s like Pinot Noir but not. Tart red fruit, slight tannins, pepper. But it’s so light in body. — a year ago
Tart, dried blackberry fruit leather, earthy breeze smell on the nose (I don’t know what that means either, but that’s the first words to come to mind). Blackberry bramble, silk, and pepper. Some iron, but it’s soften over the years. This is a Belgian Sheepdog wine. Dark, bold, elegant, eager to please any Syrah fan. I want to go for a long hike through the woods, picking wild blackberries with this dog. Then we go home and share leg of lamb, rub the dogs silky ears, and drink this (just me. Don’t give alcohol to dogs). — a year ago
When we first opened this, my father was convinced it was shot. Smelled like green olives to me— I recommend waiting a while for it to open up. He grumbled, walked off, and declared it future cooking wine. Guess who was right? Me, the certified sommelier. Rich chocolate, caramelized black fruit, leather. — a year ago

Salty mango on a boat at sea. A storm cloud lingers in the distance, but you’re not frightened. You’ve got oysters and lemons, and let’s be honest, you could survive off only that for weeks. But luckily, you captured a papaya in your net. “No such thing as a bad day” is your motto. Pair with pets for a Yellow Labrador. Super approachable, always here for a good time. — a year ago
