Tasty blend. Ripe fruit core with acidic backbone. Pretty much the same note as the last bottle. 17’ is considered by many locals as a more balanced and approachable vintage than the previous drought years, and I think this bottle shows.

This entry level red from the winery is a beauty. Blueberry, raspberry, lavender, black pepper, roasted coffee beans, and hint of licorice. On the palate it’s a bit jammy but with round acidity to balance it out. Dark chocolate and thyme too.
The 2017 is a blend of 45% Petite Sirah, 30% Syrah, and 20% Cab.
