GSM mix from McClaren Vale. Dark cherries, pencil lead, black pepper, plum. Very happy with it after letting it mellow since 2006. Very smooth and enjoyable now.

Rich, full-bodied, spicy Cote du Rhone-style Australian blend (68% Grenache, 27% Shiraz, 5% Mouvedre). Silky texture with black pepper, berries, cherries. Substantial wine that needs an equally rich dish to accompany.
