This is another Oregon Pinto Noir. The best state in the world for Pinot Noir I have concluded. This is Winderlea 2013 Pinot Noir from Dundee Hills Vineyards. The cork was pretty bad. The bouquet was much better after 30 minutes of decanting and aerating with my new Aervana electric wine aerator!!!!!!!!!!! I love it! I love the wine too. The bouquet is hot cherry pie fresh from the oven. Very simple. The color is a beautiful clear ruby red. The legs are long and thick, unlike most pinot noirs. The initial flavor explosion is red grapes and black cherries. There is a hint of green apple. This is a thick on the palate pinot. The finish is long and has a dry mineral like finish. At 12.8%, I am very impressed!!!!!!!
