Reminiscent of an Oregon Pinot Noir from the Dundee hills region, while still maintaining that classic, Californian fruit forward approach. Ripe red fruits like strawberry, cherry, and pomegranate. A fair amount of mineralality and oaked flavor too. Could easily lay for another 5 years +

One of the more enjoyable Williams Selyem wines I have had. It had rich, dark cherries, some plum, a little leather and a touch of vanilla. The finish was long, and there was enough acidity to stand up to a rib eye. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this wine.

Aged Cherry and Clover. Not a big nose. This is world class. Can compete easily with Burgundy. So far in my book this is the only producer in the U.S. which in a blind tasting could pass as a burg. Although I did also like Hirsch St. Andreas Fault when tasted it a while ago.

Perfect with smoked pork roast and risotto. Sampled alongside the 2012. The age won out!

The cherries punched me right in the face! Then the cola and beef jerky made it all better. Long Jolly Rancher finish!

Outstanding complexity and full body flavor. Lots of raisin in the beginning. Slight hint of tobacco at the end. Just a great Pinot. Buy it and enjoy it! It's well worth it.
