Excellent wine. Big complex nose of cinnamon and burnt oak.
Palette is complicated with pronounced tannins which provides great structure for the wine. Finishes sweet with maple syrup, strawberry jam and black cherries.
I know the winemaker, so my score is biased - so what?

Jan 5th, 2018Definitely under spoken, I would have liked a bit more time with this wine. Everything about it seemed subtle, from the earth to the fruit, and from the acidity to the tannins. There was a beautiful roundness, but it also seemed to be lacking at the same time. Definitely something I would revisit.
