Intensely flinty mineral nose. Some grapey phenolic notes too. A little rounder in the mouth initially than the nose suggests, but then turns back to the mineral as the palate progresses. Long palate replete with acids and clingy minerals. Very nicely done.

Soaring nose of lemon peel and herbs. Flint and smoke. Very very fragrant right now upon pop and pour. Palate is rich and ripe but with insane energy from the minerality and very good acidity. Lovely lemon zest and lime candy flavors along with citrus and hint of apricots.

Nov 2nd, 2019I just love this wine. Riper nose than 16, but wonderful with yellow plum, grapefruit, ripe peach, herbs and minerals. Lovely and shows a hint of age. Palate is round and fresh with great acidity and freshness. Complex and juicy with more acidity than the nose lets on. Long and very mineral finish but also fruit. Really great.

So minerally initially, and the some green apple and slightly underripe pear poke through on the finish. Lonnnggg. Nice but unobtrusive acids. What a phenomenal bargain.
