Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2022 Kabinett pours a deep straw color with medium- viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe orchard and tropical fruit: apple, pear, pineapple, honey, petrol, and slate for dayzzzzzz. On the palate, the wine is off-dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose and there’s a slight effervescence that dissipates after 20min in the glass. The finish is long. This is phenomenal Kabinett and simply brilliant with our meal.
