Vinoterra
Kakheti Kisi
This is a wine I need to think about. Nose is clean-if-light with lots of peach and sweet yellow fruit. A bit of white pepper comes through too. Color is deep and dark gold with deep orange tint as well. Palate is dry, mouthcoating, and chewy with fine tannins in this orange wine. Alcohol is well-balanced and highlights the big peach and sweet mango fruit. White pepper and spices of nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice round this out.leafing into a medium to long finish. I'm thinking that this would be fantastic with charred and caramelized poultry. Nice.

Sep 23rd, 2014Amazing Kisi. Dry, slightly sweet but moreso sour, and a texture that will leave you satisfied.

Oct 23rd, 2015Really cool to try something pretty unusual. The Kisi grape makes my cat head-butt me affectionately, and make a fascinating amber colored and dry wine. It's definitely a different taste. Goes very well with simple but strongly flavored Italian dishes. Me like.
