I visited Artadi winery in Rioja recently and the actual vineyard where this wine was produced. 75 year old vines in beautiful, picturesque, magnesium-rich soils. Smooth tannins and good acidity, wet earth, mocha, peppercorn, black cherry, very savory! Elegant!
