Cherry and a rather heavy oak treatment...at least I thought. Seemed modern...which I wouldn’t expect. That being said, I thought it had plenty of quality.

Nice wine with slight acidity. Another good Costco wine.

Good value Rioja. Medium body with vibrant ruby color. Red and blue fruit with lots of cigar tobacco on the nose. Balanced acid.

I find myself enjoy a relatively young Rioja more and more for its youth in red fruit and fresh acidity. This young Reserva has that elements I’m looking for, though the nose feels a bit over-oaked. Enjoyable. And as usual very good value.

Got this at Costco today. Had it with some grilled ribeyes. Very good wine for the price. Like it better than Ergo and Protocollo.

Flavors of cherry and a hint of cedar. This wine is medium to light in body. It has a good bit of tannin and went well with the top sirloin we had it with. But I think it could go with poultry as well. This was an excellent value at Costco. Robert Parker gave it a 92.
