Reserva 1981 On the nose there is good complexity but in a Brett style so saddle leather, dried violets, but also some sweet, fleshy red and black fruit, high toned, gorgeous but may not appeal to all. In the mouth there is a fullness of balanced fruit, soft, very approachable tannin, a nice line of acidity running through and notes of cola spice and blackcurrant fruit.
