Doing well at old age! Slightly fatigued but still showing well with a warm, toasty nose, palate of dried grapes and a relatively long finish. Wouldn't keep any longer though.

Pretty deep yellow gold with touch of caramel at rim . Very little perlage . Pretty mature nose , dried citrus fruit, roasted nuts , touch or cheese rind. On the palate slightly sherried but vestiges of dried citrus , and roasted nuts , brown bread , notes . Not great length and is past its best, but still clinging on.

The VCP 1999 in 2015. Showing a lot of maturation on the nose, but lovely and vibrant on the palate.
