A few fun 4th Friday wines from tonight.
On its own, this may have been better, but it shared the table with two high quality Zins and took a backseat to both. Even with 8yrs on it this just oozed freshly squeezed blackberries, currant, jam and dark cocoa. Very dense and mouth coating with spicy noted and licorice like richness. A flavor bomb with a lot of sweetness.

Black cherry, medium finish, and a pleasant mouth feel. A blend I enjoyed more than I expected to. This is a win.
