Le Mesnil Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Champagne Chardonnay

Annual Man Cave dinner. 80+ wines accompanied by zebra, oryx, buffalo, bison and any other African meat you can imagine.

I’m scoring this based on QPR. Think this is $35’ish/bottle? Astounded. It’s got ripe and crisp apple notes, but also more of the toasted brioche, hazelnut and similar toffee notes to what I get with Roederer’s L’ermitage. Simply more chalk and limestone.

Truncated notes from our family Biden election celebration. Great nose, slight nuttiness, great Chardonnay fruit, clean and intense minerality. Love this.

Big and toasty, and that's a good thing.

Slightly sweeter than the last time I had it, but all the better for it. For my grandma's 90th.

Krug uses Chardonnay from here. Every champagne from Le Mesnil I've has has been wonderful and this is no different.

Hands down, by far the best value in all of Champagne! No contest.

why would you ever drink yellow label when you could drink this instead?!
