Deep Ruby with a youthful purple tinge. Primary fresh plum and cherry on nose and palate. Earth and spice developing with savoury notes. Built for the long haul but like all great wines good when young and excellent when old. Only 290 dozen made from vines planted in 1879. Sold out long ago but would love to acquire more on the auction market. Destined for greatness and a long life.

Not your typical Hunter. More elegant than rustic.
