Red fruit, complex, balance. On second night a bit awkward and hot. Very promising but needs more time.

In my book the best Pinot from the STA. Rita Hills. Fairly extracted and Burgundian in style. Just 13.3%! Black tea and dark berries. Under-ripe blackberries hint of plum. Great complexity and depth. I believe this is dry farmed on very poor soil. Spicy needs ca. 4 more years. It’s worth to seek out this wine or other vintages a benchmark!

Cherry notes and black tea 13.3% good balance with sufficient acidity. One of the best Burgundian style Pinot's from California - really impressive!
