A complete tapestry on the palate. A perfectly woven balance of the right fruit, the right heat, the weight. Cocoa, tobacco, stewed plum, rich winter spice and a very subtle hint of rhubarb. Spectacular. A true shame Tyler stopped producing.

Delicious Canadian Pinot to accompany our Christmas Eve turkey dinner. I get an abundance of wild strawberries on both nose and palate with hints of forest floor, celery and very light oak. Simultaneously sophisticated and playful and a perfect bottle for Christmas Eve.

One of my favourite wines this trip. The Tyler Harlton Pinot is remarkable. Small batch, garage style wine making done with extreme finesse, he really captures the essence of the Canadian Pinot. Medium low tannins, good acidity, silky mouth feel with notes of strawberry, red licorice and herbs. Loved it.
