A great Sonoma Syrah blend! Elegantly smooth, blackberries, boysenberries, baking spices with hints of tobacco & cedar.

Nice and so much flavor and when it opens up it's like a smooth blend of fruit , earth, and wood on a fire up in Tahoe

Berry on the nose mellowed to a whisper as it sat.

Ty Caton is a small boutique winery in the Sonoma Valley and specializes in big cabs and big blends. But they do also produce some whites, a nice rose' and lighter reds. Tytanium is their flagship wine and the 2010 vintage is remarkable. It is a big blend primarily syrah and cab. Rich and velvety and fruit forward. Bold but not too dry. Milk chocolate in the nose but dark chocolate on the finish. Goes great with my smoked nuts well aged cheeses.

Gods, but not that much better than some of the other less expensive Ty Caton cabs
