2017 Turkey Zinfandel from Howell Mountain. I called the color deep purple. First thing that hit me is very creamy nose… vanilla cream that fills some donuts (heavy malo?). Fresh blueberry… lots of berries, it’s a berry salad. Also dried prune/fig, some chocolate and baked spices. Solid wine! I need to drink more zin!!

Double Blind Wine tasting. This was the WOTD! Super complex. Dark red color. Red fruit, lots of sweetness, and subtle herbs. I thought it could have been Red Burg or Southern Rhone. Got the vintage.
