One of the more overlooked producers in Napa. Yes, their Tractor Shed Red is a bulk value, but their estate Cabernet is a clinic in where this grape can find its balance in Napa. Superb.

A rich nose of currant and plum is giving way to spice and leather. I get some alcohol on the nose too, this is on the back side of its drinking window. Lots of alcohol in the mouth, tannins are soft, the finish has nice length. 10/4/14
