On the nose, lavender, violets, ripe creamy fruits of; blackberries, blueberries, black plum, black cherries. The fruits are ripe and very juicy and match the nose. Black licorice, soft leather, crushed stones, dark rich soils, violets, caramel, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, nice acidity and finishes with medium dry tannins and ripe fruits. Apr 26th, 2017Very intense Shiraz. Leave this open one hour before consuming and it will achieve balance. It should be consumed with lamb. After an hour, the overly peppery finish calms down leaving an elegant Shiraz. An excellent buy.
