Popped and poured. Luscious dark and red fruits with sweet tobacco. Very primary now. The oak treatment is pretty lavish but I’m enjoying it due to the quality of the juice itself. Plenty of structure. These will easily last for 10-15 years.

Trinchero family has been making wine in the Napa Valley since 1948. Rich fruit aromas with seeet spice nose. On the palate dark fruit with flavors of blackberry and cherry, vanilla oak, cacao and spice. Tannins still tight but slowly opens, great balance and mouthfeel ending with earthy mineral character. Very nice! Give it time.

What a great surprise with this wine and what a joy to drink it was. A nose full of vanilla, plum and tobacco... followed by tons of fruit, blackberries, cassis balanced by beautifully integrated lavish oak notes. A bold, complex, smooth and silky finish that just leaves you wanting more. I can’t wait to open my next bottle.
