Like a high end Barolo and ripe for drinking now. 15 years old and muddy opaque. Still plenty of tannins. Much more body than what I remember out of a gattinara. Great wine.

Very nice too the pallet, bit could with a bit of time. Cellarmaster says another 6 months. But fruits and acids are nice and not too overpowering.
