Bright and tart red fruit, somewhat one dimensional, which mellowed out with time in the glass. Got some leather and spice towards the end and the sharpness softened, making this a nicely balanced drink with a grilled tri-tip. At $9 a bottle, this was very enjoyable.

Smoother, more red fruit forward than other Chiantis I have tried. Very enjoyable on the palate.

Deep dark opaque purple color and medium bodied. Sour red cherry and soft leather notes leading to a medium tannic finish. Nothing complex, but a great value every day drinking Chianti.

Diggity dang it's a soft hitting chianti (which is a good thing). Dry but dank, and the value is apparent

Really nice TJ's find. A bit of blueberry with sour black cherry and leather notes. Actually drank much better right out of the bottle, as it aired out the last glass or two revealed a bit of a balance issue. The fruit and acid seemed to be going different directions. Still, at 8 dollars this great and I will get it again.
