And Titus delivers again! I must say, I was nervous to try the 2013 bc it had the same blend as his Chappellet Mountain Cuveé 2013, which showcased more Merlot than Cabernet Sauvignon; it ended up being one of my favorite bottled of wine in a long time. Andronicus was very similar! The nose had a light smokey vanilla lacing, followed by cedar, stewed cherries, strawberry, provancal herbs, clove, and cocoa powder. The juice had nice legs and a dark purple color. The pallet was luscious and had mouthwatering acidity, exhibiting notes of luxardo cherries, vanilla extract, raspberry cream, gravel dust like tannins, mineral, and a clean, structured finish. It was an absolute delight. The 2012 Was 67% Cabernet Sauvignon. This vintage barely has 11% trailing even Cabernet Franc, all backing up a majority of Merlot, ending with Petit Verdot and Zinfandel. What a great blender Phillip is, great job! Could use a case of this one!

Nice blend. Easy to pair with food. Not complex, but excellent.

I enjoyed Olema a lot more than the Andronicus. Found it a bit overrated.

Initial reaction is that the nose is a little stiff and is heavy on the petite Syrah. It's ok but I like chapellette better. The more I drank the less I like.

A wide-open blend with a lot of personality. Dry but loaded with dark berry flavors and punctuated with cocoa and coconut notes. Unfocused and fun for it.
