Store: Whole Foods
Price: $2.50

Appearance: Clear, medium ruby.

Nose: Clean, medium-plus Raspberry

Palate: Dry, medium acid and tannin, medium body. Flavors of raspberry, red plum skin, hint of bell pepper.

Finish: Short.

Conclusion: For $2.50, this is a very good Cabernet Sauvignon.

Commentary: If you can only afford to spend $2.50 on a bottle of wine, you can do a whole lot worse. Has my support for a wine in the under $5 category. Props for easy removed synthetic cork, and light weight glass. ABV is a mere 12.5%, which I believe is why this wine is successful.

Whole Foods wine selection is overpriced by an average of $5.00. This bottle costs $2.99. You do the math.

Not bad for a $2 wine. However, it is a $2 wine and though the taste isn't bad, it leaves much to be desired. Good choice if u can't go above $2 for your wine. But if you can afford to spend more, please consider other choices.
