Haven’t really been around the block enough to credibly opine on what “classic” anything means, but I feel pretty safe calling this classic Willamette Pinot. Herbs, woodsy and floral notes, cola, blue/purple fruit. Textural evidence of barrel ageing but no perceptible new oak flavors. Ageworthy.
