Ruby with berry fruit aromas, tobacco and herb notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with cedar and spice notes. Fine tannins, good balance with acidity, medium+ finish ending with toasty oak character. Drink now, food friendly, nice value!

Very good wine and nice surprise. Much more rich and complex than a recent, more pricey Brunello.

Dark garnet color, nose of ripe dark fruit- plum, blackberry & maybe blueberry with some oak. Medium body, smooth with slight dry chalkiness, mild tannins and some acidity. Same dark fruits as nose- good balance to red sauces and grilled & stewed meats.

Non eventful Chianti. Wasn’t bad but with volume of Chianti in the US these days you can find better

Love it. Smooth. Classic Chianti. Went beautifully with grill rare filet Mignon, steamed spinach and baked organic yams. Also enjoyed a glass with risotto balls and marinara sauce. Slightly fruit forward. Tart cherries. Could see it pairing with pasta and cheese or just on its own - sipping while reading a good book or chat with friends and family

The nose is a walk in the woods with cedar, pine needles, loamy soil behind mountain raspberries and flowers notes. The palate is quite dry, with tobacco, oak, cocoa, and tart red fruit. Medium plus tannins, medium alcohol, and high acid.
