A 95 mile per hour fastball of a Chianti, right down the the middle of the plate and eminently drinkable. Gravel, savory minerals, deep macerated cherry. Full flavored and with great balance. Ripeness, acids, tannins all playing off each other. Drinkable (with pleasure) now and will go another 5 years easily.
