Purchased en primeur in Europe 20 yrs ago. Cork disintegrated, but the wine is just superb. It’s intense, rich and smooth. Fresh notes of tobacco on the nose and palate. Excellent on its own, or with a cheese plate.

Chocolate covered cherries, licorice, dark spice, rose petals and violets. Unbelievably smooth and soft, this extremely young wine is just entering prime time and will provide several decades of drinking pleasure. Fantastic stuff.

Mulberry, dark fruit, cassis, a bit of smoke. From 375mL. Cork split on half but Ah-So helped prevent a disaster. Love to try in 10 yrs.

Almost had a portastrophy. The opening left a little to be desired but the contents make up for it. No use crying over a little spilled port Kim!
