Tart dried cherries and cranberries on the nose with a bit of dust. Light softer fruit on the palate in line with those on the nose with the addition of black peppercorn spice and blueberry - still on the tarter side, but with a bit of time mellows nicely. Very mild tannin. Not utterly remarkable but totally quaffable. Easy thumbs up.
