
Picked up this gem on vacation a few years ago on Lake Michigan: gorgeous Cab Franc they made into Port, aged 10 yrs then blended w/blueberry wine. It’s fascinating ... this stuff is deep and mellow w/Tawny aromas of baked cherry spice cake with raisins and walnuts then the blueberry compote comes in. Not cloying or syrupy - just flat out delicious. I always try these types of wines @ tasting rooms to find treasures like this.
