Popped and poured; enjoyed alongside the 2021 “Golden Hour” and over the course of a few hours. The 2022 “Twilight” pours a deep ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with powerful notes of ripe red fruits: strawberries, raspberries, Marionberries, kirsch, red flowers, some mushrooms, some mocha, vanilla and fine baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and the texture is silky. Glossy. This smells and tastes like money. Well made and unmistakably Pinot Noir but whoa, she’s a confident one. Drink now and enjoy the abundance of ripe fruit…but I guess you could drink through 2032 if you needed.
